Labor Relation Staff

Basic Function

Support the Labor Relations Manager in identifying and resolving workplace issue; Act as a communication link or bridge between employees and management to unsure a harmonious work environment; Suggest or indorse programs and activities that improve employee satisfaction, morale, and motivation to Labor Relations Manager for evaluation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Employee Forum, Labor Management Committee and the Employee Family Welfare Committee
  • Ensure proper distribution and information of the minutes to concerned persons and departments
  • Promptly act employee concerns which do not need top management approval
  • Promptly report to the Labor Management Manager any issues requires immediate action
  • Conducts regular patrols in the plant to observe employee work environment and condition
  • Coordinate and follow-up with HRD, Admin, Medical and Plant Sanitation in addressing employee concerns on employee benefits, facilities, and services
  • Design reward recognition programs that can improve employee morale and motivation
  • Facilitate plant-wide activities such as Sports Festival, Family Day, Christmas Party and other activities related to employee relation
  • Knowledgeable of the Company Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, IMS Policy and other company policies
  • Perform other job as instructed by the Superior

Job Qualifications

  • A graduate of any four (4) year College course, preferably BS/BA-Phychology
  • Possesses good planning, organizing, leading, communication, and administration skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Has good understanding of general employment policies, procedures and labor laws
  • Must have extensive experience in resolving employee conflict
  • Has the ability to remain calm under pressure and stressful situation
  • Must have the patience and ability to handle difficult people
  • Experience in CBA negotiations is preferred
  • Knowledgeable about ISO
  • Can do office task and reports
