Instrumentation Technician

Basic Function

Responsibilities for the obedience to the environment, health and safety regulations while on duty and implement the maintenance programs to plant process equipment and support facilities efficiency with proper recording of technical information.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conducts preventive maintenance and repair of plant, electronics and process instrument in the plant.
  • Provides diagnostic advice to different plant working groups (Mechanical and Production) regarding equipment troubles and operation.
  • Conducts daily/routing inspection on all critical/vital plant electrical equipment and process instruments.
  • Properly log/documents all activities done during the working shift (calibration, adjustments and trouble remedies).
  • Adherence to the prepared KY by the Superior in an assigned activity.
  • Knowledgeable of the company Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, IMS Policy and other company policies.

Job Qualifications

  • A graduate of 2-year vocational Electrical/Electronic course, preferably graduate of BS-ECE/BS-EE.
  • Two years experience as an Industrial/Instrumentation technician.
  • Can interpret/analyze electrical/electronic circuit diagrams.
  • PLC and DCS accessing and programming.
  • Knows how to troubleshoot/repair electrical equipment, control and electronic.
  • Knowledgeable with testing instrument and calibrators.
  • Good leadership skills and hard working.
