Fishermen in San Fernando will soon acquire four new motorized banca they could use for their daily livelihood.

This came after Solid Earth Development Corp. (SEDC) donated P100,000 to Panadtaran Fisherfolks Association (PFA) through the coffers of Barangay Panadtaran.

Barangay captain Ricardo Y. Reluya initiated the project to support the livelihood of PFA members Rogelio G. Basco leads and presented the proposal to SEDC for collaboration.

By Dec. 23, SEDC human resources and administration deputy division manager Mitzie Almira I. Carin turned over the timely Christmas gift with community relations officer Gines T. Boltron.

SEDC supported the project under its Social Development Management Program (SDMP).

SEDC operates a port with 10 berthing spaces in San Fernando that Taiheiyo Cement Philippines, Inc. uses to ship out Grand Cement products to various ports nationwide.
